1. Summary
- You do not need an account to use the site, and we do not ask for your name, email address or payment details.
- We use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used, and Google AdSense (and possibly other ad partners) to show ads.
- These services use cookies and similar technologies. Analytics and advertising cookies are only enabled if you click “Accept” in our cookie banner.
- You can change your mind at any time, and you have rights over your data described below.
2. Information collected automatically
Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request in order to deliver the site and protect it against abuse.
Your cookie choice. When you click Accept or Reject in the cookie banner, the choice is saved in your browser's local storage (key cookie-consent) so we do not ask again. It is not sent to us.
Time zone. Kick-off times are converted to your local time inside your browser. Your time zone is not sent to us.
3. Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-Q6HYCYSTHW), a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand which pages are visited, how people arrive at the site and which devices they use. Google Analytics uses cookies (such as _ga) and collects information like pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, browser and device details. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use this information only in aggregated form to improve the site.
We use Google Consent Mode: until you accept cookies, analytics storage is set to “denied”, so Google Analytics does not set or read analytics cookies. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense and third-party vendors)
The site may display ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party advertising vendors. In particular:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
- You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info (or www.youronlinechoices.eu in Europe).

5. Managing cookies

To change your choice later, clear this site's data (cookies and local storage) in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies altogether; the site will still work without them.
6. Legal basis (GDPR and UK GDPR)

7. Your rights
EEA and UK residents have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about them, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability and to withdraw consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. Rejecting cookies in our banner, or using the opt-out links in section 4, opts you out of personalised advertising on this site. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

8. Data retention
Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account (no longer than 14 months for user-level data), after which it is deleted automatically. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security and troubleshooting. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it. Advertising cookies are kept for the periods set by Google and other vendors, as described in their policies.
9. International transfers
Google and our hosting provider may process data in the United States and other countries. They use safeguards recognised under data protection law, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
10. Children
The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. Links to other websites
We may link to other websites, such as football-data.org or broadcasters' sites. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed.
